The business was formed on a foundation of deep, practical experience across real estate, development, construction, and large-scale project aggregation. Our background spans the full property lifecycle — from origination and feasibility through to approvals, delivery, and exit — allowing us to operate with clarity, speed, and commercial discipline.
Our story
DEVELOP RE’s origins began in real estate, including the ownership and operation of a large metropolitan office in Sydney, NSW. Alongside this, the founding team established and operated a property development and aggregation platform working directly with major developers. This period was instrumental in developing a deep understanding of site acquisition, feasibility, risk allocation, and the realities of executing development at scale.
The business is further strengthened by a partner with a construction and manufacturing led background, having successfully delivered a wide range of projects. This experience includes medium-density residential developments throughout Queensland and land subdivision projects across New South Wales.
Together, the partners bring over 50 years of combined property and development experience across multiple market cycles.
How We Do It
Today, DEVELOP RE applies this experience through a focused and disciplined model. We identify property with unrealised development potential, progress sites through planning and approvals to establish their highest and best use, and execute the optimal strategy for each opportunity. Depending on the project, this may involve partnering with established developers or acquiring and progressing sites directly.
Where projects move through to full development, delivery is undertaken via experienced construction management partners, allowing DEVELOP RE to remain focused on land strategy, approvals, and value creation while ensuring professional project execution.
Our approach is intentionally capital-efficient and risk-managed. By prioritising early-stage value creation through planning certainty, we reduce downstream risk and preserve flexibility across changing market conditions.
